Solomon's Park is possibly Sarasota's strangest, yet most intriguing landmark. The park is basically a massive castle at a manatee swamp, built with aluminum printing plates with bizarre sculptor, Howard Solomon. The castle becomes wackier once indoors and excursions by Solomon himself along with other guides show an elephant assembled with acrylic cans, a beer could seat a coat hanger unicorn and many stained-glass windows. The creative motif continues from the castle's restaurant, that looks like a Spanish galleon.
